🏈 LSU players showing class after the game...

Bama players were saying that LSU was very gracious after the game, and most said something to the extent of "Great game guys, now go win that Championship!"...... Said there was a lot of mutual respect before and after the game... (not so much during)

Said almost all the LSU players stayed on the field long enough after the game to say something nice....

That was unexpected by classy.....

Honestly I was impressed by a few of their players, O'Dell Beckham for example. He absolutely obliterated CJ Molsey on a block in the 2nd half and then he helped him up and patted him on the helmet. Landon Collins did something similar where he laid one of their guys out and then patted him on the helmet as he was getting up. Both teams showed alot of class honestly, especially for a heated rivalry.

Gotta show respect to Mettenberger too, he looked like a beaten man at the end of the game but he was pummeled in the second half and wouldnt allow himself to be carried off the field even if it meant dragging his leg off.

Beckham Jr ran half the field for Saban after the game, Coach Saban told him "We couldn't cover your ass".

It looked like Mettenberger ran straight to the locker room. AJ was looking for him it appeared to me. I'll admit I was surprised by the class shown by several, including Miles in his postgame press conference.

I did notice a lot of LSU players patting Bama guys on the head/butt, helping them up, etc.

Good to see some class from that team.

Exactly my thought Plano. Last night LSU looked like they were beaten down physically, emotionally and mentally. More so than any other team we've played this year.

Kinda ironic in a way, they've been missing QB play for so long, they finally get improved QB play and now they are missing the defense. Zach made some really bad decisions last night, he was getting pressured alot, most of those questionable throws came due to pressure. AJ threw TD's during similar pressure - believe every one of his TD's occurred when LSU sent 5 guys.

I think Mett played a great game, that kid took a beating, and for the most part was pretty accurate when he needed to be. LSU had issues at defense, and usually Chavis has a dialed up Defense. He lost a lot of muscle from that group last year in the draft. I was surprised how open the middle of their defense was. AJ shredded them in the middle of the field.

I tell you all, by far, AJ is the best QB I have witnessed at ALABAMA in my almost 50 years of living. He will be missed next year. I am so proud of him and think he will be playing on Sundays for sure. Wherever he goes in the Pros I will surely root for him.

I think Whataburger was upset with the Corn Dog King for leaving him in there to meat for the the slaughter on that last drive... What good could have come of it? For God's less Less Mind, save your quarterback for a better time and a better day... Whataburger had heart, I'll give him that and I began to feel a little sorry for him...
