🏈 LSU DB “I really see us dominating this offense. I really see us dominating this team,”

They've been throwing short and intermediate passes. If he wants to go long he will have to hold the ball that much longer against a team not known to let you study the field. Last year's model at QB was physically hurt in this game because of the long ball.

I understand what you're saying, but if they watch film... they'll see the only way Ole Miss could move the ball was to throw it deep. Again, it's just my opinion so there is room for many other opinions... just saying I don't see any team dinking and dunking the ball down the field on us... it comes in chunk plays or it doesn't come at all... I think QB runs in chunk yardage and QB passes in chunk yardage is the only real way to move the ball on our defense...

Yes sir, that's why I like our chances in death/deaf valley. I don't think they can.

Exactly.

We will embarrass the bayou Bengals in their own yard.

Etling may beat Bama with his arm, and if he does I will be the first to congratulate him but I gotta see it first. He isn't mobile and he has a mediocre arm. If he burns the secondary enough to win the game then they deserve it. Of much more concern to me is Hurts dealing with a very good LSU secondary and decent ends and LBs. I believe they will pound the ball with LF and season in some slants and swing passes

We shall see

I've watched Etling very closely seen he took over the QB job. He does not like pressure he gets happy feet and looks for a place to throw it away. We will dial up the pressure and he will be happy when this game is over.

Etling is going to be doing some serious chuck and duck.

‘Shouldn’t have said it’: Last week, Tigers defensive back Dwayne Thomas said he thought the LSU defense could dominate the unbeaten Crimson Tide, which leads the SEC in scoring. Thomas is one of four players that was on the roster for LSU’s home losses to Alabama in 2012 and 2014. Orgeron didn’t care for Thomas’ comments and said he would have a discussion with him about it. “That’s wrong,” Orgeron said. “He shouldn’t have said it. You don’t win the game in the papers. You win the game on Saturday night. So I’m going to have a little conversation with Dwayne.”

Thankfully, you can't unring a bell.

'We'll settle it on the field.'

Must not have gotten Orgeron's memo about wolfing to the press.

KJ Malone on 2014 matchup with Bama: "I just remember how loud it was, and we almost had them. I think we'll get them this year."

There’s surprisingly been a lack of respect for the No. 1 team in the country. Lest Malone forget, he’ll have to block the likes of Jonathan Allen, Tim Williams, Da’Ron Payne, and Dalvin Tomlinson on Saturday.
In other words, he’ll be battling against an angry, motivated unit which many regard as the best in all of college football.
Have fun, K.J.
