Here's a fun problem for HawHaw...Wearing his own jersey?!?
LSU OL Arrested for Felony Burglary While Wearing His Own Jersey Number
You can't make this stuff up.
LSU has suspended offensive lineman, Adrian Magee, after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Tuesday. Magee is currently being accused of simple burglary at an apartment in Baton Rouge.
The victim reportedly came home to find a forced open door and many belongings missing. The victim claims to have been looking around the apartment when Magee poked his head inside and asked if there was a burglary. After the victim said he was going to look at the security footage, Magee disappeared, only to return with the missing valuables.
The story takes a turn, however, because Magee was identified by the victim, an LSU football fan. The fan claims to have recognized Magee because he was wearing his jersey at the time of the burglary.
Yes, you read that correctly. He apparently wore his own football jersey when he robbed an apartment building, and then hung around long enough to ask the victim what happened, before returning the stolen goods.
It's important to remember that these are all just allegations until proven, but...it's tough not to take note of that detail.
Magee was suspended by the team for violating team rules, according to
Ed Orgeron, but it may as well be for possibly committing the most idiotic crime in college sports. It's certainly not a great look for the program.
Magee, a former four-star recruit, saw the field in three games during his freshman campaign in 2016.
