šŸ“” Louisville basketball should be given the NCAA death penalty if bombshell allegations prove true

He will be gone but they won't give Louisville the death penalty. I whole-heartedly believe no one will ever receive it. If Baylor covering up actual RAPES isn't enough to receive the death penalty, nothing is.

Baylor....what bout Penn State....raping kids!!!!!!!!
The death penalty will NEVER be applied again....period

Neither of these two cases are violations of NCAA rules. So, irrelevant examples.

How can you even come close to making that argument when the NCAA nailed Penn State with sanctions? Even if you can argue that Baylor coaches and administrators covering up crimes isn't an "NCAA rules violation" (and boy thats a huge leap of logic there), lack of institutional control is...

And what did the NCAA do in the end? Dropped everything they levied on Penn State because it was out of their jurisdiction and they were about to lose A LOT when it came before the courts.

Emmert overstepped his bounds, Penn State officials called him on it, and they backed down. Sanctions reversed, probation lifted, etc.

Why did that do that? Because, it's not within the NCAA jurisdiction to levy sanctions on matters like PSU's and Baylor's.

How is covering up crimes committed by players NOT in the NCAA's jurisdiction?

I'm sure someone will blast me for not taking the time to read what is going on here, but I have been busy with work and kids and just keep hearing how bad this is. Would anyone mind shooting me a few bullet points in a post about the accusations and why I'm actually hearing "death penalty" and so many agreeing with it. By reading a couple of posts yesterday I just assumed it was Auburn giving some money to recruits, which happens every day, so I didn't really connect the two when I heard "death penalty" this morning.
