📝 Louisiana LB Christian Harris flips from A&M to BAMA

Dylan Moses and Chris Allen both went to University High as well. When Harris gets on campus we'll be looking at the Tide having three players from that school—a school that is on the LSU campus. Literally.

This is big pick up. I've seen a few say he was the most athletic linebacker in this class. We can safely say he's among the best. I don't know how much contact Pete Golding had with Harris last season when he was at UTSA. CPG did a damn good job pulling this one in.

That said, it certainly helped things seeing Tim Brewster has left the A&M staff.
Some smoke around Jeffery Carter flipping also.
There's been 'smoke' around him for awhile now. It's always been a story to watch and now that Brewster is out at A&M it's taken on a whole ''nother' life. I believe Carter to be a heck of a corner before all is said and done.
Dean or Toto get the last spot ?
At this point I'd say stop guessing. There's another flip coming, a shortage of big WR's in this class (a goal of the staff) which looks like it might be left unfulfilled (essentially opening up a spot for another position group) ... Hell, even the total number signed for this upcoming class is still fluid. They're closing strongly.

Is this guy an early signing?

List so far:

Taulia Tagovailoa QB Alabaster, AL 6’0”/190

Paul Tyson QB Trussville, AL 6’4”/210

Pierce Quick OL Trussville, AL 6’5”/270

Amari Kight OL Alabaster, AL 6’6”/300

Darrian Dalcourt OL Baltimore, MD 6’3”/290

Tanner Bowles OL Glasgow, KY 6’5”/270

DJ Dale DT Pinson, AL 6’3”/320

Antonio Alfano DT Colonia, NJ 6’4”/285

Justin Eboigbe DE Forest Park, GA 6’5”/261

Kevin Harris DE Loganville, GA 6’4”/218

Will Reichard K Hoover, AL 6’1”/185

King Mwikuta LB LaGrange, GA 6’4”/220

Who is this flip? Give us the scoop

Also are we adding 2 TE?

I hope Nolan Smith. Would absolutely love to cripple the Dawgs after they lost Haselwood and Emery.

I have read that Golding was Harris primary recruiter and that Harris wanted Bama all along but until last week did Bama finally give him the go ahead to select Bama. I am hopeful that Dean selects The King. This seal with Big Mike at this Maryland job (hope he gets the gig) but I don't want that to hinder those DC area players Bama is trying to land this cycle.

Some smoke around Jeffery Carter flipping also.

There's been mention that the staff wouldn't turn either down if they wanted in. This could be a measure to ensure that we get at least 2 at a much needed position. Dean is an early signee and To'oto'o is a NSD announcement. Getting Harris flipped and add Dean, then it wouldn't hurt should To'oto'o decide to stay out West.

Heard (from hank south if I recall correctly) the staff would like to take zipperer for the "big wr" in this class
There is no doubt signing a big WR is a main goal of the 2020 class. It's one of those years where there just isn't a lot to choose from. If they can get one, they will. The offense needs a few.

Here's the thing on Zipperer, @T&B ...he's more the 2nd tight end of this group than he is a big receiver.

Is Pickens off the table now or something. Thought there was a little smoke there?

I heard that his grades were going to be a question and that they didn't want to lose a scholarship or hold out for Pickens and miss on another priority target. Besides, I think the '20 class is loaded at WR and we at the top of the list for most all of the ones we want.
