I appreciate her elevating the program to out of the dumps. I trust Byrne to make a good hire and keep the program rolling. Will be interesting to see who he goes after.

She did a pretty good job overall, especially with what resources she had, which wasn't much compared to most SEC schools. Supposedly, there has been a little bit of a disconnect there with her and the department for a bit. I'd imagine Bryne will go his usual route after another young coach with promise rather than someone established with years of experience. One thing that isn't likely to change much overall is the resources, other than the nice new practice facility and locker room space they'll get when the men move out of theirs this summer/fall.

That wouldn’t be a bad choice to be honest. She has Final Four experience as a Bama player and top notch experience and success in the JUCO ranks over at Shelton State.

It's my understanding that Chanda Rigby (Troy) has let it be known she's interested in the position. Little things here and there ... gut tells me GB already has his person. IE: He knew the position was coming open with Curry's daughter graduating.
