📡 Longtime head coach Phillip Fulmer is returning to Tennessee in an advisory role.

I just received a text telling me I needed to tune in Finebaum. Evidently, Fulmer is on today defending Butch and telling Paul he's doing a great job as the Volunteers coach.

A few weeks ago I was listening to The Championship Drive and heard Heather Dinich (you know, @Sgt. Lincoln Osiris dream girl) and she was talking about what a good job he was doing.

It seems to me the Volunteer nation is buying his swill spiel lock, stock, and barrel.

What the Fat One did to Majors....the TN admin did to him .......awesome
Met the guy and sat in his office a few years back.....
Really pleasant conversationist ........ not charming.....had shirt with bama sript A on..
And he talked about being recruited by Bama....lol

I have always felt like the court of public opinion caught up with Phil and job opportunities for a backstabbing snitch is less than one might think after 10rc football. He went on a number of interviews but came up snake eyes. After being recently rejected as the latest Orange AD choice, maybe this is his consolation prize.

He used to sit in my office when I taught him Freshman English at UT in 1968-69. Some quarters, I was assigned almost whole sections of athletes as a TA and always let them know, just to mess with them, that I was a Bama fan. They evidently took it well, since they supported me for the departmental teaching award that I won. But they also responded by beating us four out of the five years I was there. Phil did his work and received decent grades, though he was inclined to smirk when I'd bring up my athletic allegiance.

I'm guessing young Phil failed to sign up for ethic class.
