I have no problem with Chris Spielman per say, but ESPN shouldn't allow their homers to go to call the games of their alma maters. That's just MHO. To me, it's inherently wrong because the commentator cannot be objective, thus the game degenerates into a love fest for said alma mater.

Did you guys just see the 4th and 2 that Ohio State missed on? Spielman got mad! He took it personally when OSU didn't convert. He said, "If you can't make a 4th and 1 you got problems". Someone laughs (Griese, I think) and the other commentator replies, "Why wouldn't you just take the field goal and end the game"?

Navy scores on an 85 yard pass the very next play.

Not a good day for them at all. OSU beats a service academy team by 4, another of their ranked teams (Iowa) has to block a field goal late in the game to beat a mid major, and Minnesota having all it can handle against Syracuse.

I'll be pulling for Western Michigan this afternoon as well.
