But anyway, thatd be interesting.

booing "possums" more like it... similar thing has happened in past with LSU getting lots of injury TO's. exactly why I want to see a log somewhere of the game.

I can't see a fan booing someone for getting hurt, plain and simple.

I guess harassing players the week of the game on their cell phones is free game though.

The student section did boo. I think it was because it appeared someone was buying their D some rest when they were on the ropes.

Also it was the student section. The same ones that didnt observe the moment of silence for the Ft Hood victims. I know its a big party for them but come on!

I wasn't in the student section, but I know my section was over all the injury timeouts. Lee got sacked with about 2:30 mins left and no timeouts and what do you know? Next thing I see is Hebert struggling to get up. It was just a little much. It just seemed like every time they needed to stop the clock someone didn't get up.

When they did get medical attention (and had the clock stopped) they popped right up like nothing happened and would come back in play after next. It just got old. The only real exception to this was Charles Scott and the last hit on Jefferson.

I haven't watched the replay yet, and I'm sure I was a little too emotional at the moment. Just way too many perfectly timed injury timeouts, that's all.

The Ft. Hood incident....embarrassing! I hope they remember that moment and their behavior later in life. I doubt they remembered much about that day though.

Wasn't at the game, but if they really didn't observe the Ft. Hood thing than that's just embarrassing. But with the whole injury thing...I wouldn't put it past LSU to instruct players to act like they're hurt to stop the clock. Wasn't it Flynn in 2007 that was caught on camera falling to the ground and acting like he hurt his knee after he realized his chin strap had snapped?

LSU is always pulling that crap! I've watched them so many times pull it. I'm sure there were injuries. Funny thing about them all they always seem to come when their D was getting winded! I understand injuries happens more often when a player becomes fatigued, but the crap they're pulling is simply a way to buy some much needed rest time.

Lets not lump the whole student section into one. Some students care about the game and other happenings, including the moment of silence, and not just getting hammered.

Is there a blackmon on the team? I think that was the name anyway. This player was hurt until he saw Peterson on the ground for his 10th time he then jumps up like nothing is wrong and runs off the field.

BTW this photos was not of the student section, but of the north endzone. FYI the guy in the white cap clapping in the upper left corner of the photo is Jay Barker. This is the two point conversion play I believe.

Faining hurt is one of those loopholes in the rules that LSU (among others) jump on. They use it to their advantage and I don't fault them, cause its not their fault and they are not breaking rules. However, complaining because the fans boo is silly. You can't have it both ways. Get well soon does not imply within 06 seconds on the play clock.

Paterson, their Number 7 DB was 15 yards in front of me on the 2-point conversion series. He made a tackle going out of bounds and afterwards popped up virtually to his feet before dropping to the turf face down (where have we seen that before?). He was loose and fluid up until the split second before he dropped. He did not reach for his calf in pain, but guess where they worked once the crew crossed the field? Cramp in the calf, yeah, right?

Has anyone here ever had a cramp where you didn't reach for that site of the pain?

I sit right next to the students and I will admit it was VERY hard to hear that we were observing a moment of silence, so I highly doubt if 98% of the students even heard the announcement. ( still not an excuse ) I didn't boo once, and I don't boo. I hate that they faked all those injuries, but at the same time if they did actually have an injury that was serious, do you wanna be the one cheering and chanting while that player is down on the field?
