That's who proposed the “5+1."

The B1G is against home field advantage for higher seeds in the 12 team format. (Odd, considering how often they complain about home field advantage when it's cold.)

The PAC is in support of the eight format or either of the two 12 team formats.

To date there are a few eight team proposals and two 12 team formats. At this point it looks like it'll be one of three decisions; if there is a decision.

Where they stand:

(1) remain at 4 thru 2025:
(2) approve the original 12-team expansion; or
(3) approve the 12-team alternate.
