School prez believes the Hurricane may have the cause of rise in the virus....
Saw where Missouri is having issues...

At least La Tech and Baylor are trying which is more than can be said about BIG and PAC 12. Pretty sure fans and players would have been ok if they would have at least given them a shot at making it work.

Plus did anyone really think there would not be some cases, interruptions and missed games?

probaly will see a bunch of postpones,...cancelled... but at least trying...

wouldnt be surprised to see agame scheduled....wherethere are holes...a week or so before.... and this was3-4 days before....

I am not surprised and expect to see more games postponed or canceled due to athletes testing positive. Some colleges and universities are almost 100% online and that helps keep numbers under control somewhat. West Virginia just suspended a very large number of students due to parties. I heard this morning that the Strugis ride has now had high numbers of positive cases or exposures. Elementary, middle and high schools will follow suit since many are starting back up. Numbers will increase when large groups of people get together.

Fingers crossed here, but we haven't had any flare ups in my school or in our system. Granted, our kids have only been in school since the 27th and we have been on a staggered/split schedule.

Both schools are saying postponed. The Big XII championship game is tentatively scheduled for December 12. They have the option to move it if a team might make it based on their win/loss record. Baylor-LA Tech isn't a conference game, but it could be a tie breaker.

OOC games don't count in Big 12 tiebreakers. It's a random draw at the end.

We are running a split schedule as well. We started 8/24 and have had some issues. Like I said, I am sure we will have more in the upcoming days and weeks in our county, part of the state and entire state. Each local school district here sets its own school calendar. In other words, we do not use a county schedule. We also have our own superintendent and school board.
