I've seen on a few other sites that a lot of people feel like we have a really good chance at landing Collins. Matter of fact, some people were saying that Geno Smith had been recruiting Collins to BAMA, and that Geno, via his twitter account, said that Collins would be attending BAMA. Traditionally it's been really tough to pull the top tier kids out of Louisiana, so I have to wonder.

What does everyone think about our chances with Collins?

If we were to add a player like Collins, this class would REALLY begin to look like another special one, when early on it had looked like this class would take a step back from recent years IMO.

LSU buddy of mine just today said that he feared that they would lose him to us, citing that Collins has a long time girlfriend who attands Bama. Its hard to argue with that.

I don't know where Collins will commit, but I do know that Poontang is undefeated. That stuff is powerful and it makes young men do illogical things.
