Herbie has always been a fair assessor in my opinion. While the debate rages on, for me, what I like most about Tua outside of the obvious talent and field vision, is his pace, his tempo, his rhythm. Even just getting into the huddle and getting out of the huddle but especially at the line and then even moreso during any given play. He is just very quick witted and a very quick processor whereas as Jalen is much more slow (and before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, I'm not saying Jalen is not intelligent, just a slower processor). Because Tua has pace, the whole team has pace and we play aggressively and proactively - we take the action to the other team - as opposed to Jalen being more slow paced and methodical and the team playing more carefully and reactively (yes, I just made up a word).
Either way, it would appear that they will both be playing quite a bit. I can't say that I love that idea, but Mr. Saban, of course, deserves the benefit of the doubt.
