I' not sure Southern Miss could afford him. But, who knows?

It wouldn't be as bad a move as some may think. Southern Miss can win their conference, Fedora parlayed that into a bigger gig. It seems like many of the "big" openings wanted someone with previous HC experience. I figured he'd stay at Bama one more season but perhaps he does jump.

I'm with Duder on this one. Southern Miss is not a bad gig. Good money and you can feast on some really talented kids that are not quite good enough to play in the SEC. It is a great place with some leeway in order to get your HC mistakes out of the way and figure out exactly what you need to do as the HC. It would be a good move IMO.

If he gets this job then congrats to him. Most big schools want someone with HC experience and he would have a chance to win there.
