Having said that, it is time he starts putting his name out there for Head Coaching jobs so he may or may not be interviewing?
I am sure his agent would insist that he start interviewing with different schools regardless of his interest to start getting his name out there for big jobs to make him a hot name for future openings. Saban would tell him to interview as well. It is all part of the process in coaching.
These sort of rumors are all over the place at every school right now. He doesn't even fit their criteria: The search committee is going after a coach with a “proven track record” who “plays by the rules” and will “continue to build on the student-athletes success academically.”
