I've seen players get caught up with rumors that didn't pan out as well...that said, perhaps we should take note of this?

This rumor has been going on for a while. Makes me wonder if the the coaches may be sitting on it till the last minute on signing day. Not wanting to tip their hat to any other coaching staffs or recruits.
As far as Norwood, I don't recall him being a very vocal guy. My memory is terrible so I could be wrong. If so, him saying that could very well be something, as you say Terry, to take note of.
Maybe were trading Kamara straight up.

He still has a few "hoops" to jump through assuming all this comes together. Graduation and being released from his athletic scholarship at FSU are the first two major ones. Assuming all goes well on both fronts he's looking at the first week of May before he's out of school.

It gets a little tight here. Summer (Interim) starts the first week of May at UA as well with the first day of classes on the 5th. It technically shouldn't be a problem with their last day of the semester being the 2nd.

Bottom line, if we do see him, we won't until the end of the first week of May or during the second week.

All that said the guy who runs the 247sporst site for Alabama isn't being coy or cautious. He's not saying it's a matter of if, it's a matter of when—as long as those things mentioned earlier fall into place.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Nice work on the dates too! Knew we was graduating but didn't" t take into consideration the process and time lines. I really don't know much about the kid other his coaches think pretty highly of his skill set. Would certainly be interesting to watch this one unfold. Wonder if this had anything to do with the Del Rio situations on or was it wanting a scolly? Hell It could be that his dad may not care for our new OC. You never know.

Terry, aren't start dates often different for graduate degrees? <!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: dbtech_usertag_mention --> @TerryP <!-- END TEMPLATE: dbtech_usertag_mention -->

I never took any graduate classes over the summer sessions so I can't answer that. I can't say whether or not there's a class that would fit in his graduate course load for the Interim session which starts the fifth either...but, I suspect he could find one so he could start working out with the team in skel drills, etc.

If you look at the academic calendar there are no specific dates listed for graduate classes, only a few sections for law, education, ELI, etc.

It's worth paying attention to...it was a dead give-away to Tony Brown committing to Bama versus LSU. With him stating when he was starting school and running, and then looking at LSU's start dates, the two didn't match.

Interesting. That's what I was thinking because most post graduate degrees start in June.
Taxation's summer courses start in April this year.

These Interim sessions differ all the time: both in courses offered and when. I took some classes that were in an Interim session that was in January (not at UA.)
