šŸŒŽ Karine Jean-Pierre says she’s leaving the Democrat party and announced her new tell all book about the Biden admin.

WASHINGTON — Joe Biden’s longtime White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced Wednesday she has left the Democratic Party and is writing a tell-all book about the ā€œbrokenā€ administration she served.

Jean-Pierre, 50, worked as Biden’s top spokeswoman for two years and eight months and stunned fellow White House alums by announcing the looming release of ā€œIndependent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines,ā€ due out on Oct. 21.

I think it was in The Guardian. Don't hold me to that although it really doesn't matter. It's a 'side story' in all of this.

According to the article it was her plan to leave the White House and then join ABC and The View. That's no big deal. Psaki moved to MSNBC for her show (I think it's still in production; not sure.) McEneny (?) went to Fox News and the female panel show at noon.

Here's what the article was pointing out. The author makes a point. Female, black, and lesbian. She "checks" every box for that show and yet she didn't make the cut?

I'd say black-balled but there's the chance I'm racist and a misogynist if that's suggested. šŸ™ƒ Seriously, an odd turn of events in my view.
Psaki’s show is still on.

She may ā€œcheckā€ every box, but you’re either good or you’re not, she wasn’t black-balled, she just isn’t very good.

I think the right is doing pretty good with the average people. Gas down over$1 a gallon on average, inflation back to normal, eggs back to normal, trade deficit massively reduced, border closed, and fentanyl down. Makes a much bigger difference to the average person than the democratic party's agenda over the last few years.

Psaki’s show is still on.
Thanks. I wasn't sure. I've never watched her outside of a few clips here and there (aside from her time behind the podium as PressSec.) I remember reading something (ratings related) a few weeks ago indicating the show/network is still "bleeding" viewers.

I got to give Jen this: everytime she said "circle back" I thought of Eddie Lacy. šŸ™ƒ

šŸ™ƒ should have been a little clue there, stomp. I was being facetious with the word "black-balled." (A few jokes here.)

I do think she tried to emulate McKeney with her binder vs Kaleigh's notebook. I found that odd...especially considering KJP's 'binder' looked like something you'd find in the home of a hoarder.

I don't look at any PressSec's as dumb. I did look at KJP and found her woefully underprepared in a lot of her pressers. I don't know: that strikes me as lazy.

It is losing viewers because the ones that were watching the network was because it was hard left and they’ve since gone more to the middle, but also most people get their news from other sources like ā€œnew mediaā€ i.e Aaron Parnas and Under the Desk News because the major news people have decided to ā€œkiss the ringā€ of Trump and whether it’s right or not younger people on the left don’t agree with it. The show that has lost the most viewers are those two dopes that are husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend- can’t remember their names.

It was odd KJP doing that.

Oh she was woefully underprepared, but Biden and his team were careful about what they wanted her to say, which is one of the reasons she left the Democratic Party, I think she’ll eventually say she’s of the far left side of things.

Morning Joe and his wife, Mika (sp?) That's an odd duck. "I talk to the President daily and he's sharp as he's ever been?" I think that was the line.

"Left the Democratic party" is something I find a bit intellectually dishonest. A registered I that votes D all the time? It's an easy ID to make. šŸ™ƒ

My registration reads Independant, my beliefs lean often towards the Libertarians, but at my core I'm probably more of a constitutional conservative. I don't know. I don't really care for labels of any kind.

I voted D in the City Council race for my district. If a good candidate arises I'll vote against a guy like Lindsey as well as Clyburn. On the other hand, I know Scott personally. I'll vote for him again. I'm ready for Nikki to do the same thing I want Hillary to do: disappear in the shadows and shut the hell up.

FWIW, on perspectives...

The little "news" I read yesterday (with my attention centered on college baseball) was from The Guardian, some from Al Jazeera, and a little from The Telegraph. If habits hold true I'll be reading WaPo, WSJ, and the NYT today...a few others mixed in. I try not to read the same outlets but once a week, if possible.

Yes, Morning Joe. They spent years trashing Trump and repeatedly saying how wasn’t qualified yadda yadda yadda, but this time they run down to Florida and kiss his ass and kiss the ring as they say for what?

ā€œLeft the Democratic Partyā€ is a huge intellectual dishonesty thing. She’ll vote for D for sure, but they’ll have to be way left.

My registration reads Democrat. My beliefs obviously are left, but I’m more left of center, I’m not hard left, the left and I don’t agree on guns for instance- in that banning guns isn’t the answer. This may surprise you, but I voted for W (I used to be republican), they lost me when they decided cutting social programs was the answer, having worked in LE for 9 years it changed my outlook on a few things, like we should spend more socially i.e Medicaid, food stamps, mental health, homelessness, drug rehabs, etc.

I’ve wanted Hillary to disappear and STFU, I am not a fan of her or her husbands, hence why I didn’t vote for President in ā€˜16, well I wrote in a candidate.

As for news I read everything, I get Apple News and they send articles from everybody, I get sent news from a place called AllSides and it shows the political leaning of each article. As for watching- I don’t watch news programs, I’ll listen to Squawk on the Street at work and would watch it when I was on days and my girlfriend will have local news playing while we’re getting ready for work or while she is now that I’m on nights

No. I can't say I'm surprised. That was a weird time for me. Sure, there were things about Bill Clinton I didn't like. But, there were things I appreciated; respected in fact. I may have not cared for the direction but he could bring a room together.

Enter Hillary and let's look at her medical ideas. That didn't sit right and tarnished my view on W. It wasn't as much him as it was a pushback on what I saw coming.

One thing I HAVE to say about W. RESPECT.

The man could throw a strike on the world's biggest stage: Yankee Stadium. How many on the list of POTUS can say the same?

I support the programs you've mentioned. And here is a huge dichotomy. It needs more regulation in the form of separating the wheat from the chaff.

He could definitely throw a strike. Better than a lot of people that have thrown first pitches.

I could support more regulation

It was Clinton that most recently suggested "if you can work 20 hours a week, do it and still get a 'stipend' from social services," right? Aside from some of the proposals now.

I think we can agree that Section 8 housing is a cluster fuck.

It’s definitely a cluster fuck. I can’t say everywhere, but in cities like Denver some of the section 8 housing is filled with drugs and gangs

Same here. I could write a book about the relationships. I take yard bird to a guy a few times a month just to play chess: me, a skinny white guy, riding a $1000 bike in a gang hold. I don't give a fuck his kitchen table is made with Formica. He plays a damn good game of chess at...90 something...

As fucked up as you are..you and I have a lot in common. šŸ™ƒ

As fucked up as you are, I agree we do have a lot in common haha.

I’ll go into gang holds and pay basketball with kids, shoot the shit with people, my favorite place to get bbq here is in the backyard of a mobile home made by an older black dude from Mississippi that’s dead center in a gang hold. You and I are built the same it sounds like. I’m 6’ and skinny, but I’ve never been messed with in that hood
