Looks like we dodged a bullet here after all.

ormer Alabama Crimson Tide running back Alvin Kamara was arrested Thursday night and charged with driving with a suspended license and other charges, according to a report from the Gwinnett Daily Post.
Kamara, 19, was also charged with having no driver’s license, not wearing seat belts and failure to appear. He was released from Gwinnett County jail after posting bond.
From the report:
According to a Gwinnett County police incident report, Kamara was driving on Jimmy Carter Boulevard near Holcomb Bridge Road at about 6:10 p.m. Thursday when an officer spotted him ā€œwith no seat belt in use.ā€ A traffic stop was initiated and, when asked for his driver’s license, Kamara reportedly admitted he didn’t have one.
ā€œHe stated he was driving because he was going to do laundry,ā€ the report said. ā€œThe car was a rental car that he stated his mother knew he was operating.ā€
One of the nation’s best high school running backs, Kamara did not play as a freshman at Alabama, and had multiple behavioral issues during the season. He did not practice with the team in preparation for the Tide’s November game against LSU, and was suspended for the Sugar Bowl game against Oklahoma.
In January, Kamara was granted his release from the Crimson Tide football team, and planned to transfer to another school. There were reports that he was visiting Clemson with an eye towards a transfer there.

ok, so you effed up and got arrested. deal with that and let it go.

but for goodness sake, don't exacerbate the situation by making dumb-ass comments on twitter and/or facebook because you're a hot-head.

hopefully this young man can get his $#!t together and stay out of trouble.

Nice one Kamara. Instead of just transferring out to a University where you have a chance to be a contributor in the future, you eff it all up and now you'll be at the JUCO Level where *uburn is going to give you your second chance. Way to mess up your life.

and you just know that if he winds up there and makes some sort of impact, they'll be saying how they stole him from 'BAMA; the same way lsu fans say Coach Saban left lsu for 'BAMA.
