A guy I met is opening a liquor store up the street. I stuck my head in a few weeks ago to ask what was coming and ended up landing a little gig to install his POS system.

They may need to rethink that acronym. The OEM at our site uses the same one for the warranty ticket system (POS). Supposed to stand for Power On Support, but the way some of their equipment runs, it gets tagged with the other POS acronym meaning pretty often.

I told him he didn't want a POS for a POS. The hardest thing about this gig is scanning all the bottles for the INV. Two hours to set up the hardware and probably two days to build the inventory logs. It's going to be boring.
