I'm not a big documentary guy, but I do like the sports docs better than most (like true crime and such). I watched a little of the PGA one that Netflix did, but I never got hooked. Heard the FI doc is good, but I have no interest in that. The SEC Inside type things that ESPN does are always pretty entertaining, and I'd assume this Netflix thing would be very similar to that in some ways (which the article also alludes to), but would encompass the entire season and not just 1 week. I will add that I would be surprised if Alabama signs on for it as I've heard they have a similar (exclusive)...

Kalen DeBoer's first Alabama football season subject of sports documentary. How to watch

Alabama football's first season with head coach Kalen DeBoer era to be the subject of a sports documentary series. Here are the details.

Alabama football remained at the center of the college football universe as it transitioned from Nick Saban to Kalen DeBoer. This February, Crimson Tide fans will have a chance to see what that transition looked like.

FOX Nation, a streaming service run by FOX News, will release "The Tides That Bind: Inside Alabama Football," a six-episode documentary series that will include interviews with DeBoer, safety Malachi Moore, quarterback Jalen Milroe, wide receiver Ryan Williams and others.

According to a release from FOX Nation, the documentary series will "delve behind the scenes of the team as they adapt to a year of unprecedented change" with highlights from spring ball, summer workouts and fall camp through the 2024 regular season and postseason.

“We are thrilled to bring our viewers this intimate behind the scenes look at the historic Roll Tide football team as they navigate the trials and tribulations of a year in transition," FOX Nation president Lauren Petterson said in a statement.

Alabama will have its A-Day spring game April 12, and open the 2025 season Aug. 30 at Florida State.

A guy I met is opening a liquor store up the street. I stuck my head in a few weeks ago to ask what was coming and ended up landing a little gig to install his POS system.

Just a few minutes ago he told me he was tired of seeing Bama football commercials every morning while watching the news. It was 9, the local station was running through the weather forecast. I was a little lost until I realized he's a Fox News viewer.
