The offense is exciting indeed - historically so. However, we had better get our run game oiled up as well so we can manage clock better during our November run. Our defense will be well served if our offense can eat up more clock with long drives.

i'm soaking in all i can.....not taking anything for granted. we all know how quickly things can turn. revel in the highs....have hope in the lows. it's the ebb and flow of college football. but how appropriate is that saying as it is usually spoken about when talking about the "tide"?

For me personally, the only thing that makes some games seem more ominous than others is sample size. Looking back at the whole season anyone can put offensive and defensive shortcomings in perspective. Fortunately, in that sense, the season comes and goes at the blink of an eye, so it's kinda hard to stop and stare at anything too long. Good or bad.
