🏈 Just how impressive was the offense in 2020? Look at this fourth down stat.

Decided to go through the play by play on ESPN for opponent possessions. The Bama D forced 74 4th downs in the first 3 quarters across all SEC games last year.

Missouri - 7
A&M - 6
Ole Miss - 4 (they converted 2 of them)
Georgia - 6 (converted 1)
UCheat - 7
Miss State - 10 (converted 1 and the next play was an INT)
Kentucky - 8 (First play of 4th was another 4th down not included here)
Auburn - 8
LSU - 8
Arkansas - 7
Florida - 3

Thought the same thing about Jimi Hendrix until I saw Eddie Van Halen. :p
Not a big fan of either although I did take my wife to a Van Halen concert many years ago. Admire it for what it is but I am more of a Coltrane/Parker fan or acoustic musicians that do not use all of the electronic effects.... A topic for another day.

I sat there watching game after game thinking that well tonight Mac will be off and we're going to struggle.......not so much. I doubt we ever see anything like that again.

There's a man who leads a life of danger
To everyone he meets he stays a stranger
Oh, with every move he makes another chance he takes
The odds are he won't live to see tomorrow

It's just ridiculous. Last year's team was so talented it's hard to even fathom.

We know Smitty was the best player in CF, Waddle has already made some waves in the NFL, Harris will do the same... And on and on.

And FTR - Pat Surtain has basically been the star of Broncos camp so far. Pick 6 today looked too easy, but the consistent word is that he's been great and basically playing every position in the D Backfield.
