Alabama talk starts @13:11

Peterson: Let's talk college football now, you speaking to a Florida Gator tho...

Julio: Roll Tide

Mike Peterson: What's been the key yalls success in the last 4 or 5 years, I know yall got a great coach and great program, ya know but whats been the key to success at Bama? Yall puttin out some great players.

Julio: Coach Saban, he just don't let nobody get complacent. He makes you do your job and lets you know you're accountable for your job. You can't go out there and blame nobody else for your mistake or anything like that. If you mess up, its on you. You got to get that corrected, and he also makes you grow as a man. We got average guys on the team but he makes them play TOGETHER. Its a team sport, alot of teams have alot of talented athletes, ya know, but they dont play together. He makes all his boys play together. If he tells you to go run through that wall, you'll do it.

Peterson: So what you sayin? Title this year, you think yall can win it all this year?

Julio: All the way, win it all. *looks at the camera* I'm sayin that right now, Alabama going all the way.

Peterson: Thats a little bold there, they gone see this now!

Julio: I want em to see it!

Yeah he's a freakin monster. It amuses me when DB's think they're going to get "physical" with him, it's almost comical. The game against San Diego (I think) a DB got right up on Julio and felt like he could bump Julio the whole way down the field, what does Julio do? As hes reaches up and grabs Julio's arm, Julio grabs that arm and flings this dude slam out of bounds, and catches the 30 yards bomb.

He's becoming a true playmaker all over the field, even as a decoy. last week they faked a screen to Julio (which is becoming a HUGE weapon for them like it was for us) and literally 5 players swarmed to him, Matt Ryan pulled up and hit a wide open (4th string WR) in the endzone. His blocking is also rubbing off on Roddy, thank god.

So glad you posted this! Man for a Tide/Falcons fan, this is really an amazing year. I used to be okay with the fact that ATL may never win a Superbowl, but after the Saints did it and I found out what it was like to be surrounded by them every day of my life after they became good, it lit a fire under me. Dirty birds all the way this year!
