I think Julio has been told he will be traded, and it is obvious that it was going to happen. Atlanta really needs to get rid of Julio and Ryan from a financial perspective, but they can't do that and win anything.

That will not happen due to contract dollars between them would be way way too much. Does sound like JJ is out of the Bird complex. He is going to have to restructure his contract with his new team. Perhaps one of those add extra years (knowing full well he will not play ) to get him signed.

Yeah Dak's salary takes up a lot of the cap ( I saw where he is the highest paid athlete in the U. S.) and behind Conner McGregor #1 and #2 & #3 soccer players (Messi and Ronaldo) putting him at # 4 in the world.

For the record, I've been in favor of getting rid of Matt Ryan for years. He cannot get the ball down the field to Julio or Calvin. They always have to slow up or come back to the ball, not to mention all of the turnovers. Yet the Falcons keep the guy that has more potential replacements compared to the Hall of Fame receiver that could never be replaced.

They couldn't deal him before June 1. They get about $15 million in cap space if they wait until then, which is a huge need for them. Right now they can't sign those folks they just drafted.

Their previous GM got them in a bind that should not have been allowed by the owner. I have always been a Falcons fan just because I am a Georgia native. But I have no real reason to continue that at this point. I can easily pull for Philly. Miami, New England, Tennessee, etc. It isn't like I normally have a team to pull for in the playoffs anyway.

Love to see him come play for the Titans, but I’d kinda prefer he go play with a gunslinger QB. He’s help us win, but I don’t think he’d be used to his potential with Tannehill. Just my opinion though. Tanne had 800 yards less than Ryan last year and it wasn’t Ryan’s best year.

He's making bank. Any team that wants him will need to have zero players who are stars (and their resulting contracts) and can afford to give up a first round draft pick (reported asking price by the Falcons)
