🏈 Josh Pate: "Post-spring top 20 if I had to rank them right now"

The Saturday Bama opens with FSU and Texas is at Ohio State, LSU opens on the road against Clemson. (Only three ball games of note that Saturday, hopefully the TV folk get it right.)

Based on Pate's poll, there's a good chance Clemson won't play another ranked team until they meet UofSC. I don't have a lot of faith in GT.

A few around here in the IPTAY groups tell me they finally have a WR room. It's been something I've been pointing to for several years now. I can see them in the playoffs.

Here's what's weird. Both Clemson and LSU are anomalies in the first game of the season: each and every year.

Just not sure I see LSU and Clem being that elite. I always go back to why now when everything else is the same? Problem is now that everyone is ranking them like that it will be like last year in the Big10. If Clem wins they only maybe loose 1 game. if LSU wins then do they stay over ranked? Are there not 4 losses on this LSU schedule? 4 vs top 10 and 7 vs top 20. Is LSU getting credit for playing a tough schedule and Clemson not getting dinged for playing the Atlantic Coast Cupcakes?
