🏈 Jordan Hare Stadium --- how many times have you seen a game there?

I have been twice back in the late '80. My daughter was in the band and went to a band day thing. I can remember both game Akron Zip Faust was the coach. The next year it was Southern Miss those kitten lost the game 17-10.

I used to attend as a Boy Scout in the late sixties (yup I'm old). Probably went to 8 to 10 games. Our job was mainly to escort older folks to their seats. Back then, game programs cost a dollar. When the game kicked off, the vendors would just drop a stack of programs on the concrete. I would pick them up and sell to latecomers for 50 cents. Made out okay for a kid.

The only way they could fill the stadium was allowing boy scouts in for free

In the mid-80's I dated an auburn tigerette, went to most of their games in year one, then just the ones I thought they'd lose in year two, including the Georgia game between the hoses. I belly laughed watching that episode, funny on so many levels. I went to two Bama games there in the late 80's and then in 1993. Haven't been back since, don't plan to go again. If I had to guess, a total of maybe nine or ten games.

Went to some when my sister was at AU.
And my dad worked with a bunch of AUs. And they would give hime tickets for me n him
Early 60s....remember seeing the GaTech vs AU.....when the GaTech kicked the AU player in the face......

Almost Always had AU-Bama tickets in Birmingham most every year...

We always had a lot of free tickets...from mom n dads friends..co workers....

Do you live within reasonable travel time to another SEC stadium? Or, ACC? What about dropping down to FCS level?
I live not too far from Birmingham. But distance isn't the reason. I don't go to opponent stadiums because I don't travel to enemy territory. If someone from the other side started talking shit, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut. Then, I'm in a world of shit because I'd be way outnumbered. So it's easier to just not go.

However I did when I was in the band at JSU. But that was basically a "had to" situation.

During football season, I'm about 10 minutes away from the Appalachian State stadium, but almost the only games I've ever been to were ones when I was an admin and invited to the Chancellor's Box. We'd sneak out at halftime, come home, and watch the Bama game.

I’ve been to 4. Mr. Burkett our HS principal had season tickets & gave me & my buddy his tickets for Texas, Miss State, FSU & Maryland. 1st game was Texas & Texas stomped a mud hole in the barn & bo jackson’s ass! We had such a good time talking shit to the livestock who inhabit the Shittiest place on the plain that we went to the other 3 hoping for a repeat.

I have been to the Auburn campus once in my entire life and I was paid to go there. My best friend's brother was in pharmacy school there in the early 90's. His mom paid me to haul a mattress and box springs up there for him. I went to his trailer, unloaded and left. Didn't ride around or look at anything. Didn't want to get any of it on me.
