im still worried that he will commit to lsu but here is a thought. if his mom didnt know then she is not involved in the decision making/process. there has to be a reason for that. either he needs to find his own way and knows that bama is the best choice or mom just assumed he was a lock to lsu and wasnt concerned at all.

My deeper concern/question is this: If LC is excited about Bama and CNS himself has been there to recruit Momma, what is it that has her against Bama? This was not one of those cases where a son has numerous good choices in the mind the parent thus any choice is one that they can like. LCsM (Landon Collin's Momma) was AGAINST Alabama. Why is she against Alabama?

THIS x's 1000!!! I think this is a classic estrogen stand-off to be honest. Mom cannot handle not being #1 is her baby's life anymore. She knows that one of the main things pulling Landon to Bama is the girlfriend. Right, wrong, or indifferent I think the mom should have shown a little more class and waited to voice her displeasure behind closed doors. Support your son and put on a fake smile for HIM during what is a HUGE moment in his life and keep your petty BS whining to yourself on national television.

He is a 17-18 year old boy and guess what..... Sometimes he is going to think with the wrong head and there is nothing you can do to sway him. So support him and be there for him and if it turns out to be a mistake then be there to pick him up and hope he learns from it.

I just don't understand that. I have learned to love the "recruiting season" because it give me my college football fix when there aren't games on every Saturday. I get passionate about it, but obviously not passionate as some people out there. It has never even crossed my mind to seek out a prospect that decided to go to another university and harass him. Not only is it not sane, but any chance that LSU had of getting him to flip goes out the window...

I don't know if Winston will flip to us or not (heck, I don't even know if it's a consideration for him at this point) but at least our fan base hasn't pulled any stunts like this on him, and allowed Saban to try and work his magic.
