There is no reason to think that this decision was made recently. Mom had to have known for some time of his desire. Her having that time to work on him clearly has not yield an LSU commitment. My point is that I think what we saw was Mom exercising the only influence that she has remaining at this point -- to make it known that she is not a fan of the choice and is a fan of LSU. If that is the case, that LC will face no pressure that he has not already worked past, our chance stand good -- unless....
CNS still needs a parent's signiture. I'm thinking that if denying her signiture was card that she was willing to play, she would have already let him know that Bama was not an option and we would not have seen an announcement last night. This looks like a fight that we can win, as long as it stays fair (read: no "incentives" coming to the game)
My deeper concern/question is this: If LC is excited about Bama and CNS himself has been there to recruit Momma, what is it that has her against Bama? This was not one of those cases where a son has numerous good choices in the mind the parent thus any choice is one that they can like. LCsM (Landon Collin's Momma) was AGAINST Alabama. Why is she against Alabama?
