Well, the AP reported he had died, now a family spokesman said that reports that he has dies are false. Sounds like a circus. I'm going to watch re-runs of The Office for the time being, and check his status on Monday. In the meantime, prayers to his family.

Tweet from his son a few min ago states he is not dead, but still in very serious condition.

Joe Pa was a great coach, hate it that these last months are whats defining him to some. Prayers out to the Family and people of Penn State. Hope he can pull through.

Sad, strange situation here. Fitting in a way. I know Joe did a lot of good things over a long life, but protecting a child rapist will earn some seriously bad karma. Here we see in the strange and sad final chapter of Paternos legacy, that even he isn't above it.

This really breaks my heart. Not that he died but that his legacy was laid to waste and that he died knowing this. He was a truly great man who made a real positive difference in so many lives. Sadly (and rightly so) he will be remembered not for what he did, but for what he didn't do.
RIP Joe Pa. Sorry it ended this way.
