There's nothing to suggest that. I took the time to read the pdf of the complaint, sickening as it is. Sandusky took boys from difficult social and family situations and manipulated them over time, typical operations of a homosexual predator. Given the time to consider it, and as mature adults, we can all say what we would do if we walked in on something like this and we question the GA's handling of the situation; however, this is a fairly young guy who walked in on something shocking involving a person in authority, went to the first phone he could find and called his Dad. Dad said leave now, and they went to Paterno the next day. Paterno moved it up the line, but never mentioned it directly to Sandusky (which is absolutely incredible and cowardly), and the higher ups lied about what they were told. No one, including the GA, followed up to make sure the police were involved.
The whole thing is a crying shame. Any perspective or insight on football and coaching in this situation means nothing and is a mere backdrop in a tragedy involving vulnerable and damaged boys and young men.
