🏈 Jim Harbaugh suspended as UM regents discussed leaving the B1G conference

Saw a couple of good tweets late last night about this deal... One was saying if they really wanted to punish Harbaugh they should make him Iowa's OC for the next 3 games. The other 2 were A&M and Miami fans trying to turn their own HC in for sign stealing, hoping they too can get the deal where their HC (Jimbo and Mario) is allowed to coach 6 says a week and do all the recruiting, but won't be let into the stadiums on game days.

Things are always funnier when there's some truth to it...

In college football, all roads lead back to realignment. Even in one of the Power 2 conferences.

Michael Rosenberg of Sports Illustrated reported Friday that University of Michigan regents discussed the possibility of leaving the Big Ten in the event that the conference punished Jim Harbaugh for the illegal scouting scandal that has currently engulfed the program.

On Friday, the Big Ten unknowingly called Michigan's bluff by suspending Harbaugh for No. 3 Michigan's next three games (he can still coach the team during the week); Michigan has since field a temporary restraining order hoping to allow Harbaugh to coach the team in Saturday's game with No. 10 Penn State (noon ET, Fox).

A month ago if you were to ask any member of the B1G if they felt they should separate from the NCAA and form their own division of P5 schools what would the answer be? Overwhelmingly, "let's get out."

But now, today, Michigan and its admin are begging for the NCAA to be in charge versus their own conference? In just about every other circumstance schools want their conference to rule. Just...makes so little sense.

How does Matt Barrie have a job? In less than a couple of minutes I've heard,

"He went 3x6 for 19 yards."

On Harbaugh, he said he expects this to hit the courts M or TU when it's already scheduled for Friday. Literally, on the court docket and the lead guy doesn't know this? The production crew?

More of a situation of rob peter to pay paul scenario. They're hoping they can ride out the year with nothing and the NCAA works like the Pruitt case and takes 1-2 years to finalize something, which by then doesn't hurt Harbaugh because he's gone. UM thinks this is their NC year
