🏈 Jim Harbaugh suspended as UM regents discussed leaving the B1G conference

Harbaugh has now entered into the, reap what you sow chapter of all this. He is finding out that in times such as these, it helps tremendously to have some friends and allies within the conference around him instead of enemies who can't stand him... It's just who he is though and the reason why he eventually wears out his welcome at every stop... Despite being a good coach (and he is), he's a weird dude with zero respect for authority who constantly bucks, and refuses to play well with others... he wears people out, even those within his own halls. Mordecai Brown could count on one hand the number of times Saban has purposely tried to run up the score against an opponent in his career. But against Michigan in the Citrus Bowl a few years back (as most will remember), that's exactly what he did, all because Harbaugh was Harbaugh and pushed his buttons… So Saban sent a little message back. He sought out NFL jobs not long ago, and discovered that most them also (owners and GM's), just don't care for him and aren't willing to let the good (on the field) outweigh the bad and the jumping cholla-like personality that comes with him. I think I mentioned this the other day, but the lone exception might be Mark Davis (also a weirdo). Davis likes him and there's scuttlebut he may bring him to Vegas so Harbaugh can set up his next football house of cards there. Regardless, he's in bit of a tough spot right now, but, he's not in this spot at all (today) if he wasn't so disliked by his peers across the conference... they forced this...

I gotta wonder, where the death penalty went in all this. Toothless NCAA is the issue here, IMO. After the Bama penalty, we haven't seen anything even remotely close in disciplinary actions. Mostly vacated wins and banned head coaches or players.

Would love to see Michigan get the smack down here and get bowl banned for the next 3 years, and watch the rats jump off that sinking ship.

Read what caused the SMU death penalty and why it will never be implemented again.
