🏈 Jim Harbaugh suspended as UM regents discussed leaving the B1G conference

It's a weird dynamic playing out... The other teams in the conference are pissed and want retribution, now. The conference itself, is unlikely to do anything right now... 1) because Michigan is trending to the playoffs. 2) along those same lines, pressure from Fox. But UM's conference neighbors don't care about all that, they feel like they've been screwed by Michigan so they are putting pressure on the higher ups and NCAA to do something. They’ve pissed a lot of folks off by doing this. And the opponents may end up doing more damage to them than the NCAA will, at least as long as Harbaugh is there.

Also, I guess we can go ahead and add this scandal to the long list of Transgressions of the Morally Superior Big 10.

I just read an article on Yahoo where TCU was made aware of what they were doing and Dykes pulled a Mike Leach and turned it around on them. Apparently lots of other schools knew Michigan was cheating. Last team to beat Michigan? TCU.

In a world where everyone is trying to steal signals, Michigan was really naive to think they could carry that scheme on too long without those same teams realizing their signs were stolen, then figuring out that they were stolen before the first snap. The old saying, you can't bullshit a bullshitter... They tried, and it eventually cost them.

The rumor of teams sharing info against them is telling, and goes along with what I was getting at in my previous post. Coaches were/are pissed... similar to how some SEC baseball coaches reacted to the Vols a couple years ago when Tony Vitello seemingly went week to week pissing off a new SEC coach each weekend with his antics... Some of them ended up sharing scouting info on them later in the year, info that made it's way into the regional that the top seeded Vols never advanced out of. A reap what you sow type deal...

How does the B1G react?

I'd think if they (committee) has a choice between two one loss teams, one of those being Michigan, they'll remember this.

I don't know how the FBI handles computer crimes. I know that the majority of the time they are called in when it's a multi-judiciary situation (IE: one state to another.) This makes me wonder if Weiss was accessing emails from people in other states. It it was just on the UM campus, it would be handled locally, right? 🤷‍♂️
