🏈 Jerrel Harris Suspended?

Everybody needs to relax.

Julio and Mark will play...if Terry and the guys post it believe it.

The flu has just about run it's course...everybody is recovering and will have ample time to be 100% for VT...Reamer was the only starter or significant backup out yesterday and the word was he and the other guys are improving.

If JH is suspended, he's not irreplaceable. We have a few other LB's who could take his spot and we never miss a lick.

Upshaw is a young kid who did not handle a tough spot as he should have. He's not a problem and is a good kid.

BD is out, but it's not like we don't have 10 - 12 D-Lineman who could start or play a ton at any other SEC school, yes including FL.

There now everyone take a deep breath and move on.

my big concern is if the team is focused for saturday. these are real, legitimate distractions that COULD affect a team, if they let it. hopefully, like you said, they will just take a deep breath........................and play ball.

Saturday @ 7:00 can not get here fast enough!!!

'preciate the love.

One thing I'll add.

A lot of the media reporting flu symptoms is a sinus infection running rampant. You may have noticed that a few mentioned there wasn't fever, but they were held out.

Over-protective? Probably. But, I can't blame them.

The only one I would term a potential distraction is Deaderick. All the other stuff the players have known about or known was coming and dealt with it. The fans are the ones who need to take a deep breath, the team is just fine.

Any word from VT on the flu issues? We can't be the only campus dealing with it

It's not uncommon honestly, it's just getting a lot more attention because of the swine flu and regular flu going around.

With the cold fronts coming through the past couple of weeks, hot summer days and low 60's at night can get anyone a little sick.

That's close to what I read. They're being VERY cautious about this. If a player has the slightest fever, he's out. They're even giving them flu tests. Even if there's no sign of flu, they hold them out of practice just to be on the safe side.

Did I miss something or is this still going to be "handled internally"?
