šŸˆ Jalen's post game interview with Luginbill

Right there with ya @TUSKstuff, listening to McElroy and Pasch was painful. I was a little irritated that night, our band didn't make finals, I got into a silly argument with the wife, Alabama making some really boneheaded errors, and hearing these commentators was essentially the icing on the cake.

McElroy got alot of feedback on twitter for his commentary Saturday night, both good and bad.
I read that McElroy said, just because he with to Bama does't mean he going to sugar coat it about Bama. I just wish I could remember where I read it at?

By this time next year, I suspect he will be hard to recognize at all.

I mentioned I started muting the sound in some of these big games. It's something I started doing at times during the Vern and Gary show. Instead of Danielson continuing to take us down memory lane on what type of QB it takes to beat an Alabama team for the 100th time, it's just an easier way to concentrate and only focus on the action.

May not be for everyone, but as we get closer to the home stretch, it's really quite effective.

Well he had to take up where Vern left off! I know with what I watch of the game and that was part of the 1st qt. He talk about that 2013 game, more than once!! "He made that 57 yard FG with more left, that was the same one Alabama tried!" Gary snicker after he say it too!

Honestly ESPN shouldn't have put Greg on the call that night. I am really against any former player from one of the schools to call the game on national TV. It puts Greg in a bad spot of either sounding like a homer or making diehards mad that he isn't out right rooting for "his team". This is avoidable by putting someone else on the call.

Here's a wrench for Homerism...

Rob Skelton, side judge in the MSU game, is a Bama alum who's father played for Bear.

Not that you could tell with as much holding as MSU got away with.

All those commentators have their bias. @Birdman37 I saw what you saw and agree with you. There is two sides to any discussion. How can you dress up with a suit, look the part of a play by play announcer but really didn't provide play by play. He can't help being a former QB and his commentary was on target with other media people. Herbstreet wouldn't make a prediction on gameday because he said he was the announcer for the game. Sometimes he would say things against BAMA just to try to be unbiased. Birdman you can be assured that if you are posting on here, we all bleed Crimson, including you. :rtrsign:
