šŸˆ Jalen Hurts is taking his talents to Oklahoma

I could be mistaken...but, I believe Jalen entered the game with over 10 minutes left on the clock. Maybe it’s just my age...a backup, no matter their history/status/stature enters the game when told to do so. If they take that as offensive, disrespectful, etc. They should go play elsewhere. No one is greater than the team...doesn’t matter who they are.

He went in for Alabama's final drive of the game, with 11:12 remaining.

My point, he wasn't used at all earlier in the game as seen in previous games. He also wasn't put in earlier in the 3rd to perhaps create some kind of offensive spark.

I guess from 11:12 to 3:00 minutes left I was in the bathroom throwing up and missed when they put him in. It probably would not made a difference if he was in at the first of the second half, but it couldn't be any worst.

I understand your point. To clarify mine. I was more speaking to the notion that some have that ā€œit was a slap in the faceā€ to Jalen to be put in the game with 11:12 remaining. The way Saban handled the QB ā€œdramaā€ this year...to the incident with the field reporter earlier in the year. To his comments after the SEC championship...he’s gonna deliver a ā€œslap in the faceā€ to a player he obviously has shown loyalty and respect to throughout his 3 years here. And this supposed ā€œslap in the faceā€ sealed Jalen is transferring? That just does not make any sense to me.

I hope he does great wherever he goes!! TBH I don't see Locks having a good run at Maryland after the disaster at UNM. Weather much better in Miami, although Diaz is a huge question mark as well. I still think TCU would be best for him to win football games... I just think their Coach is a bad ass.

Roll Tide!!!

When's the last time the sooners have had a homegrown QB? Anywhere Jalen goes, no one in this state will complain all that much. But I'm pretty sure if he goes to Norman, the playoff committee will quickly see the irony in it all.

Alabama’s Richie Petitbon has found a new home. According to multiple reports, the backup offensive lineman will transfer to Illinois. Petitbon, who is set to graduate from Alabama in May will be eligible to play immediately for the Fighting Illini.
Petitbon was listed in the NCAA’s transfer database and had reportedly been considering a transfer since December. The 6-foot-4, 316-pound lineman saw action in six games during his redshirt junior year last season. Petitbon was rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 51 player overall in the 2015 class.

So the way this works is.........all the players that elected to enter the NFL draft process or transfer get to continue at Bama (free school/lodging/food until the school year is up? Would those leaving early be required to attend classes up until they actually leave The King?

Players going to the NFL dont have to do anything. I mean if you dont show up to class you're going to fail the semester but none of that will affect you after April anyway. Grad transers, like Petibon, obviously have to continue attending classes until they graduate (in May). Jalen doesn't have to, though, because he already graduated. Complaining that they are still living on campus or eating food provided by the school is a little petty, no? Especially considering these guys have busted their asses for 3-4 years at Bama.
