AJ actually passed for more yards than Knight in the loss. Knight avg 10 yds per pass completion. AJ avg almost 20 yds per. Knight took advantage of poor underneath coverage and dinked Bama to death. History seems to want his performance to be Manziel-like when it was actually quite utilitarian

ETA: Also the loss had as much to do with the Bama o-line failing to block anybody as it did OU offensive performance
