🏀 Jahvon Quinerly: Alabama's wildcard moving forward

He has been very impressive coming back from the ALC tear in last years NCAA Tournament. I also give him high marks because last year he was a starter and 2nd leading scorer for the Tide team. I wish him the very best!

JQ being back helps when he is committed to plugging in on defense too. Him being a vocal leader after the Oklahoma loss was encouraging and it getting on people about effort was great to hear. We have enough depth at the position that he can come in and go balls to the wall for 5 or 6 minutes and then get some rest. Bradley's development and Sears being capable helps give us options.

I agree with coach though when JQ is in the game it allows Sears and now Burnette to play off the ball some giving us more 3-point threats on kickouts. If they can keep knocking down shots it means that Brandon Miller can have some more space to do his magic.

This week will be a big test for our guys. Wednesday to Saturday turnarounds have yielded some tired looking performances from us in the past. Plus playing Florida who will run you off the 3-point line and with their big challenge you to shoot mid-range jumpers is in direct opposition to Oats style of offense. We either will have to adjust or prove that they can't stop us playing our game. Of course, Saturday playing the boogs in Boogerville will be crazy. Aub is a little down, but they are nasty at home and the crowd will be into it.

JQ needs to take care of the ball continue to limit TO's heat up from the 3 pt. line and we will be fine.
He has cleaned up the turnovers big time the last several games. Nice to see that. These guys are dangerous but can create more havoc when Quinerly plays well.

I saw JQ make make a comment on a tweet about beating the Barn by 30 points that create a little stir a few weeks back. Hope he backs that comment up. It is definetly bulletin board material for the Barn Cult.
