Very glad it's finally here. I met a Michigan fan this week and noticing my Bama shirt said, "I'm so ready for college football." I asked him what was he expecting his team to accomplish this year and he said "we've got to start beating OSU." I told him I'd like to see that as well.

Philly, Eastern Washington ran 100+ plays from scrimmage! They won 56 -35 I believe. EW tacked one on late with less than a minute to sort of rub it in. SHS had put them out of the FCS playoffs the past two seasons so I guess they were exacting some frustrations.

I think they are both FCS powers. I don't watch too much FCS action but I remember the names from the playoffs recently. I see they played on the ref turf.

Yeah, Eastern Washington played out here in the championship against Delaware several years ago. Only reason I remember is because of Biden, he was at the game and it messed up traffic a bit.

Ohhh that's why I remember them .. I remember that big disappointment. Everyone in the Mid-Atlantic area was rooting for the Blue Hens.

You know what's funny? Way back when, I was looking at colleges, and I looked at UD .. I remember thinking, WOW a school with a college football team, so cool! I was blown away by the stadium, which I think only sits about 15-20k people. Not to knock UD, of course, but it's a bit different than, say, Alabama
