But is seems like yesterday! Such destruction is such a short period of time. I still thank the first responders when I come into contact with them for their courage that day! Even the citizens stepped up to take people to the ER's. The community really came together that day! A day I wish I could forget!

Was in Ttown after the AU game last year and a major storm was brewing....
Tornado warnings...major Tstorms....hail...etc
Was out shopping with MS 50+..... I know better...and the people were so incredibly frantic.....people shopping...clerks.... more then i have ever seen...
...The images and feelings are so apparent.....God bless all that helped in every way

Still have areas that aren't rebuild. So sad about this,that was last year.

I know there are areas of my neighborhood at Forest Lake that are still empty where there were once houses. They fixed up some of the worst hit spots with new apartments and the new shopping center across from Midtowne Village. Still lots on the lake that have overgrowth and the trees haven't even grown back the limbs they once had.
