🏈 It's been 4282 days since Bama lost to Tennessee. All this Vol fan wants is a puppy--too much to ask?

Dear Cate,

Thank you for your nice letter. Rest assured we are working hard to see that you get your new dog, aight? But Cate, as a football coach, I've learned that it's always best to have a good backup plan, especially against the Crimson Tide. So, even if things don't quite work out on these 3rd Saturdays in October, during my brief stay in Knoxville, I'm personally going to go ahead and send you an autographed picture of "ole Smoky" our faithful bluetick hound. Try to think of him as the puppy you've always wanted, aight? And what's really cool Cate, I want you to think how, even many years from now, how this letter and still, very current subject matter can be the perfect thesis as you go for that college degree, aight?

Your buddy and temporary head coach,
Jeremy Pruitt

or by the time she gets pregnant..... 16?
I came real close to making light of her losing something else before she sees Bama lose to UT. That said, I'm still a little unsure of what Pruitt will be able to do in Knoxville. Based on his comments following their spring camp they're still a few years away from competing for the east, much less competing for a SEC title.

I feel more comfortable using the term "rivalry game" with UT than I do AU--never can tell what might happen. Personally, I think it's of note that they've given Bama a run for their money in two of the last five titles: '09 and '15.
