And we STILL don't have a playoff. This is STILL the only sport on Earth that doesn't crown an actual champion at the end of it's season.

If a playoff had been implemented since the birth of CFB, Alabama could very well have 20-30 or REAL National Championships that were determined on the field instead of a mere 12 MNCs.

Instead, we're left with the garbage post season we've had for so long & the only reason is so that greedy people who don't care about CFB can line their pockets. :lance:

We could be competing for a National Championship THIS YEAR. But no, instead we'll go on down to the Capitol One Bowl or the Chick-fil-A Bowl or some other corporate POS where the university could possibly lose money. Brilliant.

no matter what, you're still going to have to have a ranking system and so you're still going to have the same BS about rankings year in and year out. with basketball it isn't that big of a deal because they can let in so many teams, but a team can't play football games day after day.
