🏈 It Might Not Be Popular, But I'm Just Gonna Say It

my sentiments exactly

Lemme give you my take on this situation. We were not prepared to play yesterday at all. We thought all we had to do was show up and we would win. We weren't ready emotionally, the cow college was. This was a classic case of little brother taking big brother to the woodshed. Coach Bryant used to say "its not the size of the dog in the fight its the size of the fight in the dog that matters". Don't get me wrong I'm glad we won, but i can tell you right now if we pull this same stunt on Dec 5 Florida will rip out our heart and show it to us right before we die.

We haven't played this bad since La Monroe. We better get our heads screwed on straight before we play Florida, if we don't i can assure you we won't win.
thats the same thing isaid yesterday, and if you dont think Urban was looking at game film last night, then your delusional.....

I hope CUM does watch the film, because that is not the team he will see next wk.:panic:

The team he will see will be the team who took it 15 plays 79 yards ran off 7:04 and ripped the delusional hearts out of the Barn!

Did I mention Aubarn was shutout the last 26.04 of the game!

Somebody mentioned the Sugar Bowl vs. Utah and that's a significant point. That team, in that game, simply did not have the mettle to come back from a two-touchdown deficit. However this team, this week, reacted much differently. They got up, dusted themselves off, did not panic and went back to business.

Even with Mark being shut down, others stepped up and contributed. This team is maturing before our very eyes and no doubt, much more will be learned from this contest. Saban will have this team well prepared.

I will say that I'm a lot more confident going into this SECCG than I was last year.

....Does anyone really still think about the Iron Bowls in the past that we gave a valor effort but still lost?

This won't last that long, Moral victories are great for the soul, but not for the history books. And no mater what any Auburn fan can say, the scoreboard still and forever will say Bama 26 Auburn 21.

We played that bad against Utah in the Sugar bowl. They scored 14 pts before we had enough time to take a sip from our beverages.

Bama was looking ahead and if showed for most of game. That being said...26-21 enough said.

This is not last year and this team has not played like last year in any games. This was not an example like ULM or Utah because first and foremost Bama lost those game. As crappy as the team looked at times friday, the team pulled it together and won. That is far better than anything I have seen in recent memory that speaks to the different mentality of this Bama team. They would have rolled over 5 years ago and just let AU spank them. BIG difference now.

Amen, brother. Last year during the SECCG, all you heard was how that Bama team had only trailed their opponents a combined 4 minutes (or whatever it was) all season. Never having to come from behind significantly to win one hurt us in that game - most notedly not finishing when down in the fourth quarter. I think the come from behind win on Saturday just hardenend the Tide and will help them that much more in what is surely to be a close contest on Saturday.

Roll Tide.
