If Bama wins Saturday, against a highly regarded LSU team on the road in Baton Rouge, it seems the road to the Big Dance is suddenly passable. Lose, though, and Bama may be staring the NIT in the face.

So, in effect, does this game decide Anthony Grant's coaching fate at Alabama?

My own opinion - I know, they're like, yeah, everybody has one - This is the toughest game remaining. Ole Miss is good, but I think this may be the toughest game. We don't match up well with their size (looks like). This may be the last chance to get a quality win. I may be the only one, but I think the Tide can win out. Without the LSU win it may not matter.

A win on the road against LSU is not as important as it once was, since LSU has now lost back to back to Mississippi State and Auburn. We might get there anyway, but if they drop this one, their tournament chances will almost disappear.

A win for us would be a real confidence builder, for sure. If we lose Saturday but run the table after that we would be 12-6 in league play, 22-9 overall, which should get us in.

IMO, all the games are important from this point forward. I do agree that 22-9 is a pretty decent record but I think we would be a bubble team. Bottom line, win the games we are suppose to win at home, steal some on the road and the dance takes care of itself. If we do not go to the show, I think a change has to be made. No NIT this year to satisfy the basketball fans.

From here on in each win helps at least some, each loss reduces our margin for error.

LSU is not as bad a match up for us as it would seem. We have an advantage in perimeter players, and the idea would be to neutralize Martin and Mickey as much as possible.

Mississippi State is playing pretty good basketball right now, and we will want to be at our best when we go to Stark Vegas.

Looks like it not going to get any better, the loss to LSU Saturday lost all hope I think in Grant and the rest of the season. We are at a point now of going further downhill after this loss. I think Alabama might have a chance for 1 or at the most 2 wins the rest of the year. No dance at the big show and probably out the first round of SEC championship playoff. Hopefully everything will change next year with a new COACH. If this was football Grant would have been gone over 2 years ago. Time for a change is now.
ROLL TIDE ROLL

Run the table? What makes any of us think this team could run the table? We can't score any points.. We averaged one basket every two minutes in the first half. That improved to one every minute in the second half, but it's just not enough to compete.
