🏈 Is there a setting to ignore a users responses?

Like other software packages, just putting someone on ignore doesn't remove quoted posts. It's a useless feature in my opinion, especially with semi-threaded templates like this one.

True, Terry. It's not a big deal. When the shorthorns hire someone, this may die down.

In all seriousness, when has anyone on this staff here ever let anything get out of control? And we don't really moderate choosing the let our established members do so.

Now, a few are jumping on the old guy from Texas a bit...and personally, I don't see why. He's not what I call trolling, hasn't been flaming...he HAS brought up some things people are tired of hearing about...but do I really need to point to subjects like white helmets to remind folks how often things are posted that people are tired of hearing about?

Thank you Terry. And thank you mods for all that you do.

If folks have an issue with it, just ignore the thread.

I like hearing the thoughts of folks on the "other side"!

From everything I have read from the prior poster in question, he doesnt seem to be throwing fuel on the fire. IMO, he is just trying to post some comments and is getting toasted bc of his user name.

I had heartburn with old timer. He seems to be a nice enough feller, but i can't wrap my mind around the mentality that would come to an Alabama site and pontificate about how Saban was headed to Texas. I get coming on and asking, "what have y'all heard?" But not, "Hey, no offense but our money is going to buy your coach. Deal with it." To me there seemed to be an ulterior motive to his "friendly" discussion.

Probably the thing that got on my nerves the most, other than the delusions, was the "We have money so we can buy anything" mindset. Its not just Texans, it seems like if you're rich in this country 90% of them feel that way, but that is the ONLY football fanbase I've ever heard make claims like that. Its unbelievable.

Because ShaggyBevo is full of trolls and you cannot have a decent discussion in there.
