They scream “we have 7 guys that run a 4.6!” My retort is that those 4.6 guys won’t be 4.6 in the 4th quarter!” Love my Alma mater but facts are facts.

True, but that’s why you practice pursuit drills. Angles cut down the advantage that speed has.

Fastest I was ever timed was a 4.85! Got to BAMA and when Coach Stallings was hired, Coach Moore OC/QB coach wanted me to run for a time. I told him then that I wouldn’t have a fast time against the clock, but if he put Antonio London behind me and have him chase me, I’d definitely give him a good time!!
