🏈 Is it the f** OLineman or Mario

I am so disgusted with this OL.

I think CAM should be benched.

People are calling for Mario's head ... question is it the lineman or coach?

I feel the effort is not there .. forget about the scheming.

It's called execution. College football isn't like the high school football you're familiar with. It involves multiple blocking schemes and responsibilities for each play. Alabama has three first-year starters on the line and they will sometimes miss assignments based on what the defense does (not how they line up). Robinson has been struggling with nagging injuries and Kelly just came off a concussion. The off week will allow everyone to recover and fix the little things. Have faith. If Saban thought things weren't okay, he would make changes.

You're just a peach aren't you? Ridiculing everyone's thread and CamRob did get his ass kicked several times.

I agree CamRob played horribly. But I also know that playing college football today is much more complex than most realize. The solution isn't to fire a coach or replace a player. All players have up games and down games. Was it CamRob or was it UT's scheme that made him play poorly. Why is it always an Alabama failure and not an opponent success? I don't think there's any value in disparaging a player or coach until you know all the facts or are in a position to fix it.

We are a split fan base like the guy taking the prom queen to the dance and she won't kiss you because it will mess up her hair or nails, much less letting you get any further, while that guy in shop class that takes the girl from the other side of the tracks that when she dresses up really nice it doesn't matter because you know your night is going to be fun and you will probably wake up with a missing tooth.

I like the second

I keep hearing Cam Robinson is banged up, but he was flat our whiffing on guys yesterday... Had nothing to do with injuries or confusion.. He saw his guy and missed him at least twice on the broadcast replay.

The best answer is it's a little bit of everything. Old Player says execution and he's right, but if there's one guy responsible for execution it's the O Line coach. If he doesn't have guys competent to execute, and the backups aren't either, that's at least partially on him.

If the scheme is that fucking complicated, that's on him (or Kiffin) also.

There's plenty of talent on the roster to not be incompetent on this many plays. No way in hell this offensive group should be racking up so many negative plays. It's a problem.

Execution and communication all come in to play. UT ran a lot of twists and stunts. The OL did a poor job of chasing and waiting too long to pass the guy off to allow time to pick up the oncoming man. A few times, it appeared that KH was inserted into the wrong area for blitz pick up and there were times they sent more than we could account for. We didn't have hot routes built in for some reason or another. CRob did whiff a few times and then Kiffin did call the naked boot a couple too many times as well and their DEs didn't bite. Couple times Coker should have chunked it to the front row or hit Bitch Jones in the balls with a pass.

Yes, Coker should've put it in the cheap seats a couple of times instead of taking the hits and loss.

This is a salty discussion. BUT, if we replaced a player or coach when disenchanted fans called for it we'd be down to walk-ons and GA's.

RTR,

Tim

Who remembers the wonderful "Trent Richardson shouldnt be starting" geniuses from a few years ago?

Understandable, but I believe none of them are true freshmen. They have been in the program long enough to learn the schemes. They go against some of the best athletes in the country during practice. We get the best recruits in the country, so you cannot say they are green and therefor confused by the scheme. They just aren't producing and Big Cam is muscling through an injury. Don't make excuses for them, tell it like it is, they're grown boys, they can handle it.
