About what the rest of this year holds for the Tide? My point being that if we lost every game the rest of the year, which I see highly unlikely, The Crimson Tide have shown what the rest of the world has been afraid that Coach Saban was going to do in 5 years, he has done it in 2. That being putting Alabama football back where it was born and bred at, the top.

We could lose every game from here on out and ESPN and the rest of the world would love nothing better than to see that, but it's not going to happen, we all know that. I'm not jumping on the NC game bandwagon just yet, but it's such a beautiful thing to know its not as far fetched a dream it once was. Why has the whole world drinking the Saban-aid since our win over Clemson?

According to all the "experts" we were a few years away to even being a relevant team to be considered for a SEC championship game, much less a MNC.

But as my headline asked, is anyone really worried about this year or what the future holds for the Program? I honestly doubt it, except for our rival fans on here. I've hated this saying for years and I even hate to mention it, but Bama has broken all the other so called "curses" from Sports Illustrated, Gameday, Corso, Etc... But maybe they are back? I will finally say Bama is back after a SEC championship win, and atleast a trip to Miami.

No matter what bowl game we end up in this year, the fear has been put into the rest of the world and our Bengal and barnner friends. Thats more than I ever expected from this year. Keep up the smack talk boys, it just lets us know we are a threat.

Roll Tide!

I'm always worried! :D

I won't say we're back until we've been declared National Champs - because that's where we have been. We can't be back until we're back where we were.

I agree in general. The ship feels to have been righted. We are headed in the right direction. But, we've all seen what complacency can do.

Roll Tide and let's stay focused and consistent.

I agree, I hope my post didn't come off as me saying "BAMA's BACK" because as we all know that phrase has been a joke. I hate that saying, after a NC thats when I want to hear it again.

I think we are on the way to that saying coming to realization. Maybe not this year, but I know we are all hoping for it. But how can we be upset after tearing apart two top 10 teams on the road? They look good, that was pretty much the reason for my post. I guess I could have saved everyone time and just posted that. :D

I hear ya. It's sometimes hard not to get too excited. I think we have plenty of reason to be optimistic, and I am. Let's put it this way - we ARE heading in the right direction. :D

Roll Tide Slammer.

Regardless of who's back and who isn't, this is the first time I remember since 1999 that I've looked at the second half of the season and thought to myself that we are good enough to run the table. I'm not saying we will, because anyone who watches SEC football knows anything can happen...but we should be clear favorites in every game aside from the LSU game. LSU plays right into the strength of our defense, so while it will be a great game, I don't see anything that indicates we can't win.

The main thing right now is to stay healthy and focused. If we can do that, everything else is going to fall into place.

BTW, I've noticed all jokes about "The Process" have quickly vanished from the lips of our rivals. I wonder what??

I am happy to be 6-0, before the season started I thought we would be 4-2 or hopefully 5-1 right now. I think we have a good shot a running the table on the rest of the season and the only team that should compete with us is LSU. However, that statement is based upon us playing to our potential and finishing games. I also like our chances in the SEC championship game but not so sure I want to play UGA again for the simple reason that it is hard to get up for a team you have beaten once already. Regarding the national championship, well if we are lucky enough to play for it, well we might as well win that one also. :D

Yes, I am happy with the season thus far and Crimson Kool Aid taste good...

It is a great time to be a Crimson Tide fan and when I look at the games ahead I also feel pretty darn happy about where we could possibly be at the end of the season. I agree that LSU's attack plays right into our defensive scheme, especially with having a young QB taking the snaps. Roll Tide

I agree. In fact, I think our defense lines up well against both Auburn's and Florida's offense. If we are able to whip LSU, our prospect look VERY good.

To be fair, my peewee football team's defense would line up well against Auburn's offense.

I would honestly hate to play Georgia again. I don't know why but LSU and Auburn don't worry me at all, maybe the way they have played. But watching Bama play I think if they show up we are ok. My biggest concern is how will Bama play and what team will show up for those two games? I was always worried about Kentucky, but are they really as good as their stats show? I think so, but a lot of people never wanted to give them credit because they hadn't played anyone till Bama. But then again no one wanted to give Bama credit. :)

C'mon Argo don't give Auburn's offense that much credit.

I really am not that afraid to play Georgia again. I feel like we just lost our focus in the second half and I would'nt see that happening again.

Remember too it was'nt so much UGA's offense that come back. They had a punt return for a TD and an onside kick. We just let down our intensity and Saban will not allow that again.

We as fans still think like we did with Shula as coach. When we made mistakes one week we could expect the same ones the next week. We never learned now under Saban we do.

Another thing is if we play them again it will be in Atlanta and we will be bringing as many fans as they do.

I'm thrilled to be where we are right now. It's great to have the media fawning over the team. As for what goes from here on out...who knows? I'm going to enjoy it one week at a time. If we get beat though, the media will turn on us QUICK. Who will win the East? My prediction is the winner of the Vandy-UGA game.

The main problem would be keeping my guys from jumping into the neutral zone when Auburn went into this look after lining up in formation....

Yup  , in fact I've seen several barners refer to their spread eagle offense as to being a ''process''.
There's more spin comming out of the cow college fan base right now than I can ever remember.
It's very entertaining, to say the least.

I think there is plenty of reason to worry. It's been a long time since Bama finished a season strong.

2004 - Started 5-2, lost 4 of the last 5
2005 - Started 9-0, lost last 2 of Reg Season
2006 - Started 5-2, lost 4 of last 5
2007 - Started 6-2, lost last 4 of Reg Season

It's all to familiar a feeling for me. I won't stop worrying until the season is over.

C'mon Randino. There is a different "feel" about this team than any of the years you mentioned. We have leadership from the coaching staff all the way down to the some of the true freshmen he recruited. I'm not saying we will win every game (although nothing has shown me that it can't be done) but this team is different and I would be willing to bet it will not suffer a similar collapse. I have watched enough football in my lifetime to know a good team when I see it.
