🏈 Iron Bowl Parking

Got 4 Iron Bowl tickets this week. Have not been to game at the barn in 20 years. Any advice on car parking, tailgating? What area is best for Bama Fans?

If you think Tuscaloosa parking sucks, go to Auburn - it's 10x worse. I've found the best is similar to the old Legion Field parking where people let you park in their yards. I've never had any issues with leaving Auburn. They do a good job with traffic flow.

i have taken the shuttle bus in with no problem there, otherwise you will be walking a long way

I could not agree more. Parking is awful there! Yeah, you can park two miles away and be fine, but not always feasible.

I have always parked over by a park about a half mile from the stadium. Cars line the road and it's the perfect place if you want to ride in, watch the game, and leave. I simply don't care to stay in Auburn all day. The area I'm talking is on the side where their new basketball gym was built.

2009 IB I parked in a neighborhood for free by some elementary school close to AU campus. It was about a mile or so trek to the stadium, but you can't beat free!

Should be a clear spot to park right there at Toomer's Corner. Apparently there were once some big oak trees there.
