Anything on Key?

It's Davis, Part II or How Grant learned to babysit handle today's youth in basketball.

I've had more than a half of a dozen tell me he's coming back. Some of these I trust, other's I believe are getting word second hand.

So, Smith has left TDA to start his own basketball site. Tough move--may have some potential if he stays on top of the news.

So was it the discontent that resulted from an assistant coach getting the ax or is Key just in a hurry to get paid? Got to believe the chemistry around the program last season needed to be tweaked. If we are going to continue hooking the big fish and getting healthy as a program, Tuscaloosa needs to feel like home-away-from-home for these guys.

Dang , I just saw this on the interwebbings and thought I was fixin' to drop some knowledge until I dug deeper . Glad for BAMA basketball and he will be happier with his draft stock next year , after playing with a better team will only help him shine .

If you think about the threads we've seen here about basketball since the season (and in the season) it's been a lot of "help is on the way." The focus of the fan base has been on Sexton, Petty, et. al. In his interview with PF he spoke a lot about Key. I believe that was intentional and was what Key needed/wanted.

I say "learning experience" for CAJ because he's had to let Key know he is considered a valuable piece of the puzzle. Babysitting may not be the right word here but it's about all I can come up with. I'm left with the impression Key needed attention and felt he was being left out, undervalued.

This is one area Cal does very well in...the ability to stroke ego's while continuing to bring in top talent.
